Webstore Assistant  – Christchurch Head Office

As a Webstore Assistant at Macpac you will work closely with the management team to learn and develop though practical learning experiences and product training. You will work as part of a dynamic team who are committed to providing exceptional customer service to clients directly and through our online sales system. This is a diverse role where you will be responsible for the effective management of all online sales, including customer service, processing orders, following up on deliveries with freight providers and assisting with the general day to day administration.

Desired skills and attributes

  • Experience dealing with web sales and/or experience within a dispatch (Pick Packer) environment
  • High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines through strong time management
  • Have a positive, motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • A good level of proficiency with systems, including MS Office  and web-based applications

This is a 40 hour per week position based on a Monday- Friday roster. However, weekend and public holiday work may be required periodically. This position reports to the Webstore Manager.  The salary is competitive and negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.  The position is based in Hillsborough, Christchurch.
