Macpac Wilderness Club –†Terms and Conditions
By signing up for the Macpac Wilderness Club, you agree to receive information from Macpac, including e-mails. Your membership will be renewed automatically for FREE when you make a purchase during the 12 calendar months of your membership. To retain valid membership, members must also provide a valid email address within 12 months of joining. Members details will not be sold to any third party at any stage. Members have the right to unsubscribe or terminate their membership at any time. MWC discounts apply to full-priced stock only and not to the purchase of gift vouchers. MWC benefits are not available in conjunction with other products and promotions –†unless members are advised otherwise. Macpac may amend the benefits and discounts available from time to time; any changes will be communicated on the Macpac web site. MWC benefits apply to NZ stores to members residing in NZ and to AU stores to members residing in AU . Membership not transferable.
Macpac Gift Card Terms & Conditions
- Gift cards are only valid in the country of purchase.
- When redeeming a gift card online, only one gift card is valid per transaction. To use multiple gift cards, please visit one of our Macpac stores or contact us for further information.
- Gift cards are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be credited to an account. No change will be given. Cards can be redeemed in full or for part of a payment. Unredeemed balances will remain on the card until used or until the card expires. Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry.
- Valid for 12 months from original date of issue. Partial use of a gift voucher will not result in a new 12 month period.
- Macpac cannot replace, redeem or refund lost, stolen or damaged gift cards.
- Gift cards can be used in conjunction with another form of payment such as cash (in store only), EFTPOS (in store only), or credit card to make up the full value of the purchase.
- In the event of a computer connection issue, Macpac retains the right to temporarily decline a redemption where the computer system cannot verify the correct voucher value.

Macpac Club Voucher Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- For the purposes of this competition, the promoter is Macpac Ltd, 4 Mary Muller Drive, PO Box 22 225, Christchurch 8022 and the competition is the Macpac Club Voucher Competition (herein ‘Competition’)
- The prize is a Macpac gift card valued at $100. There are 50 individual prizes availabile.
- One entry per Macpac Club member.
- All Macpac Club members who have an up to date address record registered in the Macpac database are eligible.
- Macpac Club membership is defined as an individual who has made a valid purchase from a Macpac store or website between 1 January 2013 and 9 November 2015, who has registered their name, physical address and email address with Macpac.
- These Terms and Conditions govern the Competition. All other information provided prior to entering the Competition, including any instructions on how to enter the Competition, form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in this Competition it is deemed that individuals accept these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid.
HOW TO ENTER
1) To enter, eligible individuals must;
a) Be a registered Macpac Club member with an up to date address record registered in the Macpac database.
WHO CAN ENTER
- Entry is only open to all Macpac Club members who are sixteen years (16) or older with a valid Macpac Club registration logged in the Macpac database. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that his or her Entry will not be obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law.
- The Entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter into this agreement and hereby indemnifies the Promoter from and against any and all costs and damages incurred as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- Macpac retains the right to contact eligible individuals during and after the competition to gain approval of using their name on all Macpac owned social channels, irrespective of whether this user is a winner of this competition or not. In all cases Macpac will ensure user gives approval before their details are used.
HOW TO WIN
- Competition commences at 10am NZDT on September 1 2015 and closes at midnight NZDT on Sunday 8th of November 2015 (the “Competition Period”).
- At the conclusion of the Competition Period, fifty (50) Entries will be selected at random by the Promoter (the “Winner”), at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
- The Winner shall be determined at Macpac Ltd, 4 Mary Muller Drive, PO Box 22 225, Christchurch 8022 and announced on Monday 9th of November 2015. The promoter’s decision is final and binding upon all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants who are not winners will not receive any notification at all. The Winners shall be notified via email message.
- Winners will receive the Prize as set out at clause 2 above.
- If a Winner is not contactable or the Prize is not claimed by the Winner prior to 5pm 30th of November 2015 the Prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate winner.
- If the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- By accepting the Prize, the Winner grants Macpac the right to publicise the winners’ first name and location across all marketing materials.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
- If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the Macpac Club and associated user account is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) use of a Prize.
- The Promoter and its associated agencies shall not be liable in any way if the performance of obligations hereunder is delayed or becomes impossible by reason of any Act of God, war, fire, earthquake, strike, sickness, accident, civil commotion or any other cause.
- The Promoter will collect personal information in this competition in order to send prize to winners. This information will be used solely for this purpose and will not be stored. If your entry is selected as a winning entry, you will be contacted by Macpac by email message and asked to contact Macpac for the purposes of distributing your prize to you.
