A lightweight alpine softshell, the Mannering combines high performance stretch fabric with innovative design to create a flexible protective layer. Designed to withstand light precipitation and wind with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment, the Pertex® Equilibrium shell remains supple during fast movement or when you're stretched out on a climbing route. Featuring a slim fit for low volume layering, the Mannering is light and strong, offering technical versatility in the mountains and at your local crag.

Definitely Slim
When it says slim fit it is "slim" great if you do not want to have any insulation underneath it. I'm usually a small and in most Macpac jackets theses can be a bit long in the body for me but this ended up being too fitting and I had to go up to a M as I need to wear a fleece under it. Emphasis should also be on that it is an unlined Pertex shell garment. I initially thought it might have been like the Marmot Dri-clime ( an old favourite) but I was disappointed in that respect.

Mannering hoody jacket
What a beautiful light weight jacket.
It is very comfy as described and the quality is amazing.
This jacket is perfect for Australian autumn/winter conditions.
