Product Description
The product of our partnership with the New Zealand Alpine Team, the Prothermal Pants are one of our highest performing base layers. Ideal for climbers and weight-conscious hikers, the incredibly warm Prothermal Hoody is made out of cutting-edge Polartec® Power Grid™. We chose this fabric because it is highly compressible and incredibly lightweight. We like to make highly functional garments that meet the demands of our customers as they venture into some of the world's most hostile environments. Fast drying and highly breathable, this garment offers excellent moisture management and works well with breathable outer layers. We've also treated it with Polygene® for permanent odour control, which means the garment won't smell with use. The fabric is Bluesign® certified and constructed from recycled materials, an expression of our commitment to create products that are better for the planet. Designed for a slim cut with a nice amount of stretch, the Prothermal Pants make an excellent base-layer in winter and ideal mid-layer in the summer

Great wicking and warmth
Wore these in minus 10 & minus 15 skiing in Canada and loved them! Light weight. Wick well. Warm well. Only drawback (minor) is that they would, given they are designed by skiers for skiers, benefit from a 7/8 length so they don't interfere with ski boots. Will be buying another pair this season.
