Great for awkward loads
The harness system on this pack is amazing. It doesn't matter what you have in your pack it will never stick into your spine or ribs. Great idea.

Perfect size
Good size back pack, carried all my ‘just in case’ stuff over the Tongariro crossing, was comfortable, easy to get stuff in and out of, love the rain cover, didn’t leak in the Mt Taranaki rain. Only one suggestion a couple of straps/loops on the side to secure my walking poles would be nice

Ive served in the Australian Army for over 12 years. This is the ultimate day-pack/backpack I've come across. Immensely more comfortable, and a far better constructed pack with well thought-out compartments as opposed to generic military style day-packs that are often cumbersome.

I take this everywhere and it hasn't let me down yet. Macpac are bloody legends. Cheers boys.

Love the clean lines and the overall uncluttered look, the build quality and the vented back. The grab handle in the right place and hanging strap also in the right place. The raincoat in a nice bright colour. Good compartments and the expanding zipped section. The reflective piping and reflective patch near the base.Three things need attention and they are really quick and simple fixes: The phone pouch on the left shoulder strap is too small and when you have your hands on the handle bars thus having your shoulders forward it rubs your neck when you turn your head to the left. It needs to be bigger and in the centre of the strap, or not have one. I will strap/tape mine down (or cut it off). The bike light tab at the base is a loop rather than a flat strap like most. This means that the bike light flops and points down. I will staple or other wise clamp it so it is angled properly. It needs a key clip in the front pocket to add to the storage flexibility. I've added a small clip to mine.
