Why we made this
Designed for camping in comfort, the kids' Aspire is a technical synthetic sleeping bag with a tapered, semi-rectangular shape — that can be shortened for younger kids.
Get ready for family camping with the kids’ Aspire sleeping bag — a premium kids’ sleeping bag with a tapered, semi-rectangular shape to balance warmth with comfort. The easy care nylon ripstop outer fabric is treated with a water resistant finish, while a double layer of synthetic insulation helps to keep kids cosy and warm. This bag has an elasticated hood with a collar and an internal draft tube running down the length of the zip to help prevent warm air escaping. Designed for growing kids, this sleeping bag also features our unique ‘grow with me’ system which allows parents to initially shorten the bag by cinching in the stuff sack around the bottom of the bag, gradually lengthening the bag as kids grow taller.

Temp Rating is Legit - Nice Simple Bag!
I was very skeptical about the temperature ratings… But I asked around and thought about it - young kids *do* seem to keep warmer! So we tested it out on a 8ºc night in our backyard in summer jammies - kiddo never snuggled into it. Then we just used it on a dewy 2ºc night under tarp in the bush, and kiddo asked for the hood to be pulled up and the bag to be zipped up - but took their pants off during the night feeling too hot. So - much success!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s a great bag, the attached bag helps lock off the length well! The bag doesn’t weight much, packs ok, and is simple for kids to use. I.e., no drawstrings or other death devices - just an elasticated hood.
