    Designed for comfort with a spacious rectangular shape, our kids’ Roam synthetic sleeping bag is perfect for family camping trips and school camps. With side and foot zips, this bag can unzip into a duvet style quilt for easy temperature regulation. The outer fabric is a nylon ripstop with a water repellent (WR C6) finish and it’s filled with synthetic 3D Hollow Fibre for cosy warmth in mild climates. An internal draft tube and elasticated hood also help to trap heat inside the bag. The kids’ Roam comes with a compression stuff sack and left and right handed zip options.

heya, Just questioning the comfort ratings on these. Why does it seem to get colder as the kid get older? Doesn't seem to make sense to me.

BEST ANSWER: Hello Piripi, great question and I am glad you asked - I had to do some research myself! Our product design team have confirmed with the following reply:

"The model calculates temperature ratings for other children’s ages, but ages 5, 8, and 11 cover the middle of the age range. In general, comfort temperatures get higher as children increase in age up until they reach adulthood. This is primarily related to a decrease in the child’s sleeping metabolic heat production as he/she grows older."
