Good quality and well designed.
This is a well designed family tent for those used to the material and design of a lightweight hiking tent.
The main cabin is spacious with room dividers that can be unzipped and stuffed into pockets. The vestibule is huge and has 3 doors to choose from, with each door being able to held up with poles to create a shade area. The vestibule also comes with a ground sheet that can extend main cabin space. The fly sits reasonably well spaced from the tent although it would have been good for it to be able to clip to the bottom of the tent to pull it taut. Instead you have to peg out of the bottom of the fly to ensure sufficient space away from the tent. I have yet to experience rain to test how weather resistant it is. The pegs are okay quality - it would have been nice to have more robust pegs. There are two main windows that give the tent some cross breeze.
Packing the tent to its bag is challenging and I imagine takes some practice. Overall good quality and well designed tent that is lightweight relative to most family tents. Also good value at the sale price.

Not as we expected
We bought this tent replacing one from the competition during Xmas sale. First of all,... doesn’t really take that quick to set it up,... once I had done it is when I started discovering some frustrating details as, the very obtuse room angle makes so annoying to sleep with the fly cover very close to your face, even if you move away a bit makes hard to store things in pockets turning the side walls on that area very useless. At the same point, but outside, it’s make a bit hard to open those lateral windows unless you have very long arms otherwise you can fall on top of the tent. Inside, the separation room (both sides), even if you are not using them, around the top seam, because is not pole passing through neither any way to pull that section to make tension, it makes a very annoying down loop, which you will touch every time with your head, so you will must to crouch a bit. The separation room fly doesn’t really stay together as has a wee piece of magnets only, you must to pinch the tent up at the perfection like a DaVinci paint to used, otherwise again, it’s just a piece of fabric in the middle of the way. I was really expecting a lot more out of this tent, how I said in the beginning, this one was a replacement, our previous one had a lot more ventilation windows, a lot more erected walls making more space efficiently, much modern versatility as pockets to store solar panels and spaces to pass through power cables in case if you like to camp at a powered site. Sadly the NZ market for family tents isn’t very diverse. I found the entrance hall is very useful to leave dirty shoes and packs.

Hi there, does this tent have an inner that is completely mesh? Or is the inner nylon wall?
Delia M on Dec 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great questions Delia. The walls of the tent are breathable nylon, and the doors are nylon, but you can zip open to just have as a see through mesh.
