Not sure about Macpac shoe sizes. Will size 8 fit a 25cm foot comfortable socks and all?

Checking Hi-Tecs size guide, size 9 would be 25cm.

Can this be used in snow?

This boot has a waterproof membrane, to keep your feet dry, so could be used when going to the snow. Please be aware that even though this is designed for hiking, to take care if using in the snow.
