Any plans to stop packaging these briefs in unnecessary plastic? I really like them otherwise.
BEST ANSWER: Hello Nat,
Thank you for your question. We really appreciate that we share the same concerns regarding the environmental impact of our packaging.
Unfortunately, we did have to make a shift towards a soft plastic packaging for our base layers garments, as the cardboard packaging was getting damaged and was not durable enough for transport and merchandising in stores. This soft plastic packaging is recyclable and we are looking at options for our customers to make this easier, such as collection bins at Macpac stores. We are also looking into having an option when customers purchase these garments online to click an option to not have the packaging included in their order.
We do have many ideas in the pipeline and we are always looking at ways to reduce our environmental impact from the company as a whole.
Kind regards,
The Macpac Team
