A smart softshell for urban living, the Chord range is warm, versatile and weather resistant.

Product Description
Blending urban style with outdoor functionality, the Chord range features a three layer polyester fabric with a smooth outer face and a warm fleece backing. Similar to our Sabre range fabric, this softshell fabric is durable, breathable, wind and water resistant with a short chain C6 DWR finish to help repel moisture — effectively protecting you from the elements and keeping you warm at the same time. Adjustable cuffs, hood and a two-way front zip enable a personalised fit when cold, wet weather strikes home. Please note, while this softshell jacket is water resistant, it's not waterproof because the seams are not sealed.

Can it withstand heavy rain? Thanks

The jacket cannot withstand heavy rain. It is a softshell jacket, windproof and water resistant - meaning it can withstand light showers. If you are looking for something which can withstand heavy rein, I would recommend our Macpac Copland Long Rain Jacket - similar style to the Chord Softshell Jacket.

What are the measurement of the shoulder width size8 and size10. ?

Could you tell the length of this jacket for a size 12?

The length measured from the centre front neckseam to hem is 68cm and centre back neckseam to hem is 75cm.

I am between a size 8 and 10 which size would you recommend please?
BEST ANSWER: Hello Patricia. Fit is true to size, but would assume you have a couple of layers on underneath. Ie if you are normally a size 10, get a 10 and it will be the right size for you with a couple of layers on underneath.

I had the navy version of this jacket - but unfortunately lost it overseas - I loved the fit and would love to get another navy jacket. Will this be made in Navy again?

Were really sorry to hear you lost your jacket, How Gutting!?! Unfortunately we no longer have the Chord design in Navy. It is only available in Monument (grey) and Black.
