Designed for hiking and climbing in cold conditions, the Ember Jacket is warm and durable with water-resistant down and waterproof fabric across the top of the jacket.

    A classic style, the Ember Down Jacket was designed for hiking and climbing. It features a combination of technical fabrics and fill for maximum warmth and weather protection while adventuring in changeable climates. Water-resistant 700 loft HyperDRY™ goose down maximises insulation performance in wet conditions, keeping you warmer — plus the down is independently certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to ensure the humane treatment of animals. For the shell, Pertex® Quantum Pro is water resistant and durable, effectively maximising the thermal efficiency of the HyperDRY™ fill, while the waterproof Pertex® Shield inserts across the shoulders, tops of the sleeves and the hood help to protect you from the worst of the weather. For a personalised fit when out and about, the Ember features a removable hood and an adjustable hem — check out the hand pockets for the hem adjustment.

    Warm hand wash in non-detergent pure soap or Nikwax Down Wash®
    Handle with care when wet
    Rinse well by gently kneading the down
    Do not bleach
    Do not use fabric softener
    Dry flat in shade initially, then tumble dry on low heat several times to separate the clumps of down

BEST ANSWER: Hello Alex, thanks for the question. The Pertex Quantum Pro material has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish on it making it highly water resistant, but not waterproof. Unfortunately there is no Hydrostatic rating for this. Thanks.
