The Latitude 700 XP is a versatile sleeping bag that's suitable for a wide range of adventures. Filled with premium 700 loft Responsible Down Standard (RDS) goose down encased in a breathable and water-resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro shell, the Latitude 700 will keep you comfortable in cold weather. Designed with performance and functionality in mind, the tapered semi-rectangular shape optimises warmth and insulation while providing more internal space than a traditional mummy-shaped sleeping bag.

Care
To maintain loft store in a large mesh bag when not in use
Consider the environment and wash by hand only when necessary in cool water using pure, non-detergent soap or Nikwax® Down Wash Direct®
Do not machine wash
Handle with care when wet – do not twist or wring your bag
Rinse your bag several times then gently press out excess water
Dry your bag on a cool setting in a commercial tumble dryer (with tennis balls) or lay on a flat surface to air dry (in shade) over several warm days
While drying, periodically shake bag to gently break up clumps of down
Avoid overexposure to direct sunlight
Do not bleach, iron or dryclean

Is the outer bag water proof ?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Judy,
If you mean the outer material of the sleeping bag then no, this is not waterproof.
If you mean the stuff sack that comes with the sleeping bag then yes, this is designed to be waterproof, but still recommend placing within a another waterproof bag just in case.

Hello I’ve just bought this bag and it’s quite big. Does it come with a compression case?

Yes, this should come with a Compression and Storage Sac. These may be hidden inside the sleeping bag, at the bottom. If you cant find, please contact customercare@macpac.co.nz and they will be able to assist you further.

Will it be warm enough for Everest base camp in April?
BEST ANSWER: Hello Virginia. The Latitude 700 has a comfort rating of -4 degrees. We would also recommend looking a the Epic 800 (comfort rating -7 degrees) or the Epic 1000 (comfort rating -11 degrees). We hope this helps - enjoy your trip!
