Is this stove compatible with standard propane/butane canisters?
Michelle S on Apr 10, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi Michelle,

We recommend using with Jetboil and MSR isobutane/propane gas canisters, recommended size 230gm, but as long as the canister has the right side connection and thread, it should be fine.

Would it be fine to use a 450g jetboil gas canister?
Shanon B on Feb 10, 2021

Yes, this will work on the 450g canister, but the 230g canister is the recommended.

Just bought this Micro Stove. It says not to use the micro stove on pots bigger than 120mm diameter. Is it fine with the pots in the Macpac Duo Pot Set even though they are larger?
Mandy on Dec 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mandy, great question. It won't do any damage, it just wont be as efficient, and you may also find larger pots harder to balance. You don't want to lose your pot of boiled rice on the ground after a hard day on the feet! Thanks the Macpac Team
