Macpac Nautilus Two Person Camping Tent
NZ$449.99 NZ$314.99
  • Product Description
Providing reliable weather protection and aerodynamic stability, the Nautilus two person tunnel tent is ideal for camping and easy hiking trips. The Swift-Pitch™ tunnel design has two alloy poles and allows you to detach the fly from the inner for warm weather camping. When it does rain, you can rest easy knowing that the Torrentwear™ XP tub floor and the UV75™ PU fly sheet are waterproof and factory seam sealed. It has a single entry point with a partially mesh-panelled door and sheltered vestibules for gear storage. The rear vestibule space is accessed internally via a zipped ‘cat flap’ — plus this section of the fly sheet can be rolled up and secured at the top for maximum airflow and stargazing opportunities in warm weather. The Nautilus is the ideal, two person camping tent for moderate outdoor adventures.

Hi team, we have a nautilus since a couple of years but have never been able to pitch it right. It seems impossible to get the fly properly tensioned up on all sides. This means a lot of noise when it is windy and a wet inner tent when it rains. In the reviews I read that we are not the only one with this issue. Is this a manufacturing problem? Anything we can do about it? We have a multiday hike coming up and would like to use it. Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hi Joren,

We are sorry to hear that you are having these issues. If you can take some photos of our Nautilus pitched, and send these through to the Customer Care Team, then they will be able to assess and look at a solution for you.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
Hi, can the inner and the fly be pitched as one, allowing you to pitch the tent in the rain without the inner getting wet? Thanks.
N M on Nov 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi There,

The inner and the fly need to be pitched separately on the Nautilus.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
After reading the reviews. How long is the warranty that comes with this tent?
Fergus M on Mar 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Fergus,Our goal is to give everybody the best possible warranty coverage, whether you use your tent for one day a year, or several weeks. We choose not to put a time limit on our warranties to ensure they are fair, reasonable, and do not discriminate based on the level of use.
