  • Product Description
A technical down jacket for hiking, the Sundowner features 600 loft HyperDRY™ water-resistant RDS duck down within a finely woven Pertex® Quantum outer shell. Certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), HyperDRY™ is a fluorocarbon-free water-resistant down that's been treated with a natural wax-based compound to encourage moisture to bead and roll off the down cluster. As a light and soft fabric with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish and bluesign® certification, Pertex® Quantum allows the down to fully loft for maximum insulation in cold, damp climates. Internal fleece cuffs, zipped hand pockets and an adjustable hood and hem add the finishing touches to this performance focused down jacket — all helping to keep the warmth in and the cold out.

Does it pack down? Is there a small packing bag that it comes with? If so, what approx size is it?
Hannah W on Sep 8, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi Hannah,

This does pack down and comes with a stuff sack. Once packed down then it should be the size of a 5L bag.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team

Any plans to make this jacket in another colour? (Sundowner)
Jane S on Jun 16, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jane,

Yes!
We have a new version arriving in our New Zealand stores next month. They have updated the new model too and now comes with a removable hood and a nice, bright colour option.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
