The bees knees (almost).
This jacket promised much but is better suited to the hut than tramping.
The side pockets get covered by pack straps and it doesn't have a chest pocket.
Getting a phone or map out was a hassle when tramping.
Shower proof and breathable? A shower and strong wind saw it soaked and it was too hot tramping at over 12C.

The hood should be a real plus but can't be tightened securely for strong wind.
The elastic tensioners don't have a locking clip. Once pulled tight, wind fills the hood and blows it out to the original size. That's hopeless and no better than wearing a merino beany.

It's packs up nicely in its own zipped pocket and is comfortable in the hut.
I like the jacket though. It's just not what its cracked up to be.

Literally haven't taken this off
I knew I was going to love this jacket however I didn't know how much. I'm a big fan of Primaloft and this lightweight jacket punches well above its weight. Surprisingly water resistant. Regulates temperature through the fleece side panels and stows away into its own pocket. Great as a standalone jacket or worn underneath a shell or heavier down jacket. It's a big win in terms of design and functionality. Also super easy to wash and dry
