Excellent pack for kids
Brought this pack last school holidays and what a difference it made to our tramp! Ten year old loved it and was able to carry her gear without any complaints. Great waist belt and movable back harness ment our 7 yr old wore it too! We are going to save up for another one for younger sister! Thanks Macpac for making our tramp just that little bit more enjoyable ! Great gear!

At last - a well priced fully featured kid's pack
Getting your kids out into the hills is a great thing to do, and this pack means they're not making do with a glorified school bag. It's a fully featured pack with an easily adjustable harness that means we should get 3 or 4 years out of it. The best feature of all is the way it makes junior want to carry more stuff - less for me to hump around, everybody happy.

The best thing to happen in Family Bushwalking/Tramping
This is phenomenally great product, making a Tore for kids. We have tried a number of different bags for overnight walking and this is far and away the best. Only thing that needs to be looked at is the complexity of the waist strap, which whilst good is too hard to work out for young kids. Its 11/10, to quote Molly "do yourself a favour"

Excellent first pack
I bought this for my daughter for her 7th birthday. She carries her own sleeping gear and clothes and hasn't complained at all about carrying this weight. I make sure she isn't carrying more than 1/4 her body weight, and there is currently about 1/3 of the pack that doesn't get filled. The harness is so comfortable that she doesn't take it off when we have a break! This pack has meant we can go on overnight bushwalks with ease and I have peace of mind that it is not harming her spine. It has provided many special mother-daughter trips in the Australian Alps. The design is excellent. There are enough pockets without being confusing and the front stretchy pocket it super useful for grab-on-the-run items like flower guides, jumpers, camera etc. We haven't needed the rain cover yet however it is good to know it's there. My daughter loves her pack, even naming it "bluebell" and I love walking behind her and looking at it! We have had three overnight walks over a year and I can see this pack lasting until she is a teenager. Thank you Macpac for providing quality gear for kids!
