Very light for the amount of warmth it provides and packs down very neatly to about the size of a 1L bottle (even a bit smaller). For someone with limited space in my pack, this little bit of extra space is so valuable.
I've carried this mat on the Overland track, through the Victorian Alps, up through the Outback to Mt Zeil and in the Japanese Alps. It's a little warm for the desert but pulled up beautifully while snow camping.
The main challenge I've encountered is that the outer fabric is quite fragile and prone to punctures much more frequently than some other styles of mattress. I've had mine for about three years and have run out of repair patches... certainly not the sort of mat you can lay straight out on the grass (would be careful even drying it out!). Best to leave in the tent / on the tarp as much as possible to avoid leaks!
All in all, a great mattress. I'm considering buying the next warmest in the range but I have to say this has sold me on Sea to Summit for the next few years until someone comes back with something even remotely comparable.
