Brewing is simple as filling the espresso basket with ground coffee of your choice and adding hot water — 90°C to avoid burning the coffee. Does it use batteries to make the coffee hot?

BEST ANSWER: Gidday Sal, good question! This model doesn't use battery's, but you will need to pour hot water into the chamber, before making the coffee. Please check out this YouTube video for more info which will help explain how to operate / use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lY5Pt957RhE
