Pulsar Hooded PrimaLoft™ GOLD Jacket - Women's
Why we made this
Designed for climbing in wet, winter conditions.
For proven performance when you're pushed to your limits, you can't go wrong with the Pulsar Hoody. This essential insulated jacket was designed in partnership with elite climbers from the New Zealand Alpine Team, and tested on some of the world's harshest alpine routes. Constructed with a DWR-treated Pertex Quantum® shell and filled with high performance PrimaLoft® GOLD synthetic insulation, the Pulsar Hoody delivers over 90% heat retention when damp, making it an ideal mid or outer layer in a range of conditions. My go to jacket
Love this jacket - if there is a chance of rain when I'm heading out hills or town this is the prefect jacket to handle wind and the cold temps. Highly recommend!

I brought this jacket online and at first I wasn’t to keen when it arrived as I had mistakenly ordered the wrong one anyways after humming and hurring in sending it back I put it on and decided I would keep it instead and have been happy with the warmth of it I was impressed the only thing that sort of got to me is the label macpac is a stick on thing that eventually rubs off . Other than that it will serve it’s purpose.

Excellent weight to warmth ratio
I bought this jacket for a winter trip to Europe/Israel/China as well as hiking/skiing layer. Had excellent weight to warmth ratio, a huge bonus that synthetics keep you warm in the wet (unlike down). Lots of pockets with zips which were very handy - could easily fit phone/passport/wallet/gloves etc
