Lovin these jackets!
I have 2 of these now, love wearing them, lovely and warm without having the weight, and great having zip down the front.

Not cold wind proof.
I bought this for an Old Ghost Road hike in April (that was cancelled). Today I wore it in a sunny Hawkes Bay day out walking in a cold southerly. I had a merino long sleeve layer underneath and it wasn't enough. The wind went right through the jacket and I was cold the whole 10kms. Definitely need another wind breaker layer over top in cold conditions.

Well made, soft, but thumb sleeve could be more functional
Got this in a second colour because the first one was so soft and easy to wear! Flattering feminine cut and feels well tailored. Looks so nice with everything, and sophisticated enough to wear evening time out to dinner too. Only con perhaps is that the thumb sleeve isn’t functional to roll up if you don’t want it visible or in the way, not a biggie cause it’s a cozy thumb sleeve!

Great lightweight jacket.
Perfect for spring/autumn weather. Nice fit- comfortable but fitted. Would need a larger/heavier jacket for Melbourne winter.

BEST ANSWER: Hello Melisa,

It would work great as a mid layer, but you will need more than this.

Kind regards,
