Bought this to wear to NZ South Island in winter, and it was perfect for layering. Depending on the day, I wore 3-4 merino layers underneath (singlet, T-shirt, long sleeve T or two) and never felt bulky or restricted. Now that I'm home (coastal Tasmania) I wear it with one or two layers but it still looks smart and well-fitting. I reckon I could even get away with dressing it up a bit while travelling as it looks good with everything from hiking pants to skirts (or maybe that's just my relaxed style :)
Oh, did I mention that I wore it for two weeks without washing it, including three days skiing? Never stinky or weird! Well, no one complained, anyway...
Big thumbs up from me; wish I'd had one years ago.

What a magnificent layer! I have had mine since 2011 and would repurchase but the problem is, my old one is still as good as new. Washes and wears perfectly

Lovely and smart and warm. I have a previous season's blackberry colour and have just bought this season's pink. I realy like the colour: cheerful without being too bright. I bought my normal dress size for a snug, comfortable fit. The older jacket has kept its colour and smart appearance through travel and work wearing.

Bought this to replace my winter workhorse merino jacket by another brand which is sadly made no longer. After much searching, decided to give this a go. Well, very pleasantly surprised and pleased. I sized up two sizes, as I like to layer and it is everything I need. I will be buying in new colour next year and the next, so please do not discontinue. Great styling means I can wear to work and on the weekends, so will get a big workout over the autumn, winter and spring months here in the mountains. So very very pleased.

The perfect replacement for my much-loved Icebreaker jacket, that they no longer manufacture. Wonderful styling, great fabric, and this was half the price (on Easter specials). Do buy a size larger than your dress size - it's to top-layer over your indoor clothes. As a dedicated dog walker, this will be the most used item in my autumn wardrobe. Luv it!!!

I bought this cardi/jacket in a burgundy colour for a trip to the Harbin Ice & Snow Festival in January where the temps ranged from -20 to -30 deg. C (with no wind). I wore it over two 150 base layers (a singlet and long sleeve top), and my outer layer was a 700 loft duck down mid thigh jacket with hood. I was not warm enough at night and had to wear another layer over the jacket. I guess it would be fine for less severe weather.

Have had this jacket for 6 months, doesn't pill or lose shape however have noticed that the outside has faded to a point that the zip colour is distinctly different to the jacket colour.
