Macpac Transition Pertex® Shield Rain Jacket - Women's

In competitive multi sport, we know how a good fast-and-light rain jacket can make all the difference when the weather turns sour. That's why we engineered the Transition Jacket to meet the demands of weight and durability in competition, making it ideal for highly active runners, cyclists and adventure racers. To minimise weight and maximise performance, we used careful body mapping to determine specific fabric performance requirements. We've use two types of fabric: super light Pertex® Shield for amazing breathability in the places where you sweat most; and Pertex® Shield Pro for great breathability with an air permeable (AP) membrane as well as excellent durability in high-abrasion areas on the chest, cuffs and shoulders. Both fabrics are highly waterproof and better for the planet with bluesign® certification. Many multi sport events require hooded jackets — which can be a nuisance. The Transition Jacket features a roll-away hood, and packs into it's own internal mesh pocket for portability. Designed with a slim, streamlined fit for running and cycling, this rain jacket is suitable to wear over light, highly breathable layers. Please note: the Transition Jacket is not designed for use with a heavy pack. If you need a rain jacket for tramping, we suggest you consider the Resolution, Copland or Traverse jackets.
