Get trekking in these softshell shorts, made with Pertex® Equilibrium for versatility and abrasion resistance.
This fabric's double-weave construction has a tightly woven outer for protection and an openly woven inner for breathability. It's light, stretchy, and a water repellent finish encourages water to bead and roll off its surface.
Both hand pockets are zipped, and the webbing belt is detachable.
The main fabric is bluesign® approved, which means it was manufactured with the responsible use of resources.
Tested and rated in accordance with the AS4399:2020 standard. The UPF rating applies only to the area of skin covered. Protection may be reduced if the material is wet, stretched or from the effects of normal wear or exposure to chemicals. For best sun protection use hats, clothing that provides maximum skin coverage, sunglasses, sunscreen and shade. -

If you're not completely satisfied, you are welcome to exchange your purchase* with the original receipt for a full refund, store credit, or an alternative product, within 60 days. The returned product must be unused, and in the original packaging with all tags still intact. Footwear should be tested indoors and returned in original packaging. Shoe boxes must be free of tape, writing, and stickers; use a postage bag for added protection.

We trust our gear completely. If a product fails due to a major manufacturing fault or material defect, you can ask for a replacement, refund, or we’ll repair it free of charge. For non-Macpac branded products, we’ll always work with you to determine whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate.
