Light weight Hiking poles
Recently purchased as broke my previous walking poles walking the Te Araroa trail. Yet to be fully tested. So far so good hence I have just recorded 3 stars.

Super lightweight poles
These are the lightest poles I’ve come across, with simple adjustment mechanism. They are not ‘sprung’ but do not seem to jar the arms.

Nice to use but don't last that well with hard use.
Really comfortable design and would recomend for light to moderate use but did not stand up to hard use as well as Leki or Black Diamond poles. Broken bottom section, broken handle, loss of pin that holds wrist loop in sort of thing. Not being able to get replacement parts especially the hard tips as you can do with other brands significantly shortens useful life span.

Light and strong but don't last forever.
Light and strong but bits started falling off after 1-2 years. The end piece of one is still somewhere in the scree on gunsight pass if anyone wants spare parts...

Excellent product
Love these poles! I have taken those everywhere with me for the last two years. In Feb I broke one pole during my Milford walk and got it replaced. Thank you Macpac Petone team for an outstanding customer service!

Do these have left and right poles?
Sheryl F on Feb 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I think both are the same. I haven't noticed a difference using them, and sometimes take just one with me and use with either hand.
C3 walking pole. Can I get a replacement bottom piece? The pointy bit has fallen out and the end piece which holds it has worn down and needs replacing.

PAUL D on Feb 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Paul, we would recommend popping into your local Macpac store as this is hard to explain and much easier to show you how to adjust the straps. Cheers :)
