Time Tested and Proven
I've owned 2 Torres. My first when i was 19 and climbed Mt Cook 5 times in 6 months and i would often sit on it to toboggan down 500 m slopes. Both packs have lasted 15 years of hard use

The Torre is a well balanced load carrying pack and has set the standard world wide. It comes into its own when your load is so heavy you can barely lift it off the ground, but when its on your shoulders you will barely notice its there its so comfy.
Need to traverse a knife edged icy ridge or cross a swing bridge with 20 kg plus and your life depends on it? I would not use any other pack. 30 to 40 kgs? No problem

That being said most climbers don't walk in with the big loads and would use a smaller pack for alpine climbs

But time and time again...if i have to carry anything more than 12 kg i always go for the Torre rather than my other 3 packs. My smaller packs all dig into my shoulders, the Torre doesn't. it may weigh an extra kilo but this means you can carry an extra 10 without hardly noticing it

Great for scrub too.

Hey is this pack available with a harness size of S1?
Ev F on Aug 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Ev, unfortunately S2 and S3 only for this model. If you decide to get an S2 we would advise heading into your local Macpac store for a proper fitting. You will also be able to return for exchange or refund if the fitting is not right, and the product is unused (you can try on and adjust - just don't go up the hills). Thanks the Macpac Team.
what are the two web eyelets for on the top of the pack cover?

These are webbing loops :)

Cheers :)
