Suitable soap types are: pure soap, vegetable soap and Nikwax® Tech Wash®
Rinse the pack well and dry it in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight
Do not put your pack in the washing machine as this will void your warranty

Hi - I have purchased an S2 Cascade for my daughter, which looks like the right size on your size chart (she’s about 43cm (S2 men 37 to 44)) but just fitting it for her and looks a little long possibly, and I note that the measurements on the liberator system range from 46 to 52. Wondering now whether this is the right pack? THanks, John
BEST ANSWER: Hi John,
If you are unsure if the fitting is correct, you are more than welcome to head into a store with your daughter, and the pack, and the staff there would be able to check the fit. Then, if they think it isn't quite right, you can look at exchanging for one that fits better.
Thanks,
The Macpac Team

Hi, do I need a rain cover for this pack?
BEST ANSWER: Hi Joanna,
As this pack is only weather resistant, we would still recommend using a Rain Cover if using while hiking in the rain.
Thanks,
The Macpac Team

What is the recommended load rating?
BEST ANSWER: Hello David,
We don’t have a recommended load rating as such.
This pack is designed to be the best pack we have for heavy loads – typically, for most people, that’s something like 25-30 kg
The pack itself will handle those loads just fine, but depending on the wearer, they will handle them well or not. Even the best pack in the world isn’t going to make a 25kg load easy to carry if you aren’t conditioned to carry that kind of weight!
My recommendation would be to carry as little as you can get away with – if for whatever reason you’re going to need to carry big loads, this is the pack for you.
Kind regards,
The Macpac Team
