Product Description

Our Alpine Series Icefall Jacket is a proven choice for weight-conscious climbers. It combines technical fabrics and ALLIED Feather + Down HyperDRY goose down to provide exceptional warmth in damp, snowy conditions.

Its ultralight Pertex® Quantum shell is a 100% recycled nylon with Y Fuse technology. This fabric increases fabric performance around snow, and a DWR coating ensures water can bead and roll off its surface.

HyperDRY goose down is through the body, arms, and hood, and synthetic PrimaLoft® Gold insulation is in the chin, shoulder and cuff panels. PrimaLoft® Gold uses Cross-Core Technology™ to form a barrier against the cold — effectively providing warmth at less weight — and the combination ensures effectiveness in moisture-prone areas.

Our Alpine Series is the direct result of our partnership with the New Zealand Alpine Team (NZAT). This team of elite mountaineers demand premium lightweight equipment that doesn't compromise performance.

The main and lining fabrics are bluesign® approved, which means they were manufactured with the responsible use of resources. This product contains RDS down certified by CU 1210688. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) (independently) certifies down and feathers against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from farm to final product.

All Macpac down is independently certified to the RDS.
