Said it was A-Line fit but doesn't appear A-line (and flattering) when on. Does the job to kept you warm though if that's all that's important

I love this coat - it is not the standard fitted style but has a loose A-line retro 1950's style cut with a lovely high neck band that makes the coat very elegant. It has a great sturdy double zip and excellent very deep zipped pockets and has no useless bibs and bobs. The loose fit makes it fantastic for getting in and out of the car to do messages or for walking the dog etc as it moves freely on the body. I have washed it in a washbag on gentle and it came out perfectly with no bunched up patches of the insulation material. Because the fit is loose it does lose warmth so I find that say, on a walk, an extra layer such as a fleece vest underneath it is needed when it is cold. It is a bit different but incredibly useful/functional and the longer length allows one to look 'dressed' when underneath it there are only daggy house clothes! Size-wise it is generous so as a size 10-12 (depending on every other brand of any clothing) I found the lower end of the spectrum, the size 10, to be perfect. Some have said the sleeves are long but all my insulated/down jackets have over-long sleeves I find. As they are slightly long I have just turned back a small cuff as I do with all my insulated down jackets which fixes that and it is much better to be too long than too short for a coat intended for worn in the cold.

I adore my new coat, so cosy and warm and elegant-can wear light garments as the coat is beautifully insulated.
I highly recommend this garment if you are looking for a wind proof long coat, it comes to my knees.
My huge thrill also as it was on special.
Plus it packs down really small, can take it overseas….

Lovely Jacket but runs large need to ordered size down from your original sizes.

Not as warm as I'd like, the front zipper works well but one of the pocket zips got stuck and took some time to release. I like the fact that the sleeves are nice and long to keep your hands warm, I also like the longer length of the coat.

Ordered one size down from my normal size and it is just right. Good length to keep legs warm. Nice deep pockets. Perfect for watching rugby! Very happy with this purchase.
