KEY FEATURES OF OUR WATERPROOF JACKETS

Waterproof Fabric and Sealed Seams

Many of our men’s rain jackets use technical waterproof fabrics like PERTEX and REFLEX and have fully sealed seams. That means proper wet-weather protection, not just light shower resistance. Storm flaps, adjustable hoods, waterproof membranes, and longer hems help block wind and water from every angle.

Some of our men’s raincoats are cut longer through the body and back for extended protection in heavy conditions.

Breathability and Ventilation

Staying dry is only half the story. Our rain jackets for men have options that are designed with breathable membranes, mesh linings, and venting options that release heat when you’re working hard. Pit zips help with heat management, and our technical styles are designed to be worn with a harness. Whether you’re climbing, hiking, or just on your feet for the day, you stay comfortable in all conditions.

Comfortable Fit

Rain jackets should fit with the gear you already use. Macpac designs are made with layering in mind, so there’s room to add fleece or down underneath without adding bulk. You stay warm, mobile, and protected without needing to size up or strip back. Our selection of alpine rain jackets are designed to maximise movement.

Packability and Lightweight Design

Some days you wear it. Other days you carry it just in case. Our lightweight men’s rain jackets pack down small to fit in your daypack or the bottom of your bag. They’re built to be ready when the weather turns without weighing you down when it doesn’t.
