Hi, I would like to buy a women s bag for hiking. I have the impression that the Torlesse 35L is for men "S2", and that the Torlesse 30L is for adolescent "ST". So what do you recommand for a woman for a one day bagpack at Tongariro crossing for instance?
claire p on Mar 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Claire, the harness ST stands for standard, the S2 is compatible for men and women depending on the length of your back. We have emailed a size/fitting chart that may help you with sizing. The easiest way to have a pack fitted correctly would be to pop into your local Macpac store for one of our friendly staff to fit you. We hope this is helpful. Cheers :)
Hi there, What size bladder will fit in the bag?
Shamim on Mar 23, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi There,

We would recommend a 2L bladder, as not to take up too much room from inside the bag.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team

Hi, I just purchased this pack and was very happy with it until I went to fit a hydration bladder. The cavity for the bladder is too narrow to accept even the Macpac hydration unit. I can't find any brand that will fit in the unnecessarily tiny cavity designed for the bladder. What are you thinking Macpac?!??
Joe42 on Feb 4, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi Shane,

We are sorry to hear that this has happened.
If you can please email our Customer Care team directly and they will be able to work with you to rectify this issue.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
Is the back straps fully adjustable? I am after a kids pack, do you still do the kids version of this?
Emma R on Nov 16, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Emma,

The should straps are sewn to the bag, so not fully adjustable like the bigger versions.
We still have a handful of stock left of the Torlesse 30L Jr. We would recommend heading to your nearest Macpac store and they can look to order on in for you, if they don't have one.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
Does it have pockets on the hip strap?
Vanessa S on Sep 14, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Vanessa,

No, this does not come with pockets on the hip belt.
Our Fiord 1.1 40L does however.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team
Sizing question between the kids Torlesse and the Torlesse 35 with the womens fit. I see it only comes in a W2, will there be a W1 fit in future to bridge the gap between packs?
Amber W on Aug 18, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Amber,

At the moment, we don't have W1 but we are looking at revamping our range in sizing.

Thanks,
The Macpac Team

Hi there I am wanting to pack light for 5 weeks hiking overseas How many kilograms does this pack fit thanks?
Jeanette V on Sep 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jeanette. We don't have a weight in KG this can carry. Very much limited to the size which is 35l. As a rough guide we think 15kg would be about the most you could fit in, but depends on what the items are etc. Thanks the Macpac Team
